Using cwl, when you obtain files (file objects) from a directory listing they lose some fields when compare to files listed in cwl doc

Description
If I get the files from doing a directory.listing - and then try to use file.nameroot on the individual - it gives me a null in return (note: file.basename works fine). Not sure is this is an issue with the arvados cwl runner or just with cwl is general.
Not sure if this is a bug or an enhancement request :)
