Upgrading to master should advise using the configuration option disable_api_methods to disable the container APIs if you're not ready for this default to change on your site.

Added the following to Upgrading to master:

2017-07-10: #11857 edf37e9 defaults to containers api if available.

If you are not ready to use containers api as the default for your site, you can disable the containers api using the API server configuration option disable_api_methods
```
 disable_api_methods:  ["containers.create"] 
```
