Description

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UvABO9WOg5svK2LIETaEgg9jZQp6Lydb47HrG3NMsFM/edit

Goals:

  • Start a single node test cluster (done)
  • Start a single node dev cluster (build from source)
  • Start a single node demo / production cluster (install from packages) (may involve reworking our packaging)

Non-goals:

  • Multi-node clusters / production at scale
  • Running in containers (eg kubernetes)

Clusters should self-configure and start with minimum admin intervention. We want to make it easy to get started with Arvados.
