I noticed that some users are shown in the list of results in the Sharing Dialog when I search for "ASD" even though these users don't seem to have "asd" somewhere in their name. It turned out that these users have added this information in their User preferences and the user search is looking into all fields
This is counter intuitive as users will never consider user defined preferences for sharing. So ideally the search will only include the fields "full_name", "email" and username in the search. Anything else can lead to unexpected false results.
