Directory array tree picker shows checkbox for project which does nothing

Description
The easiest solution is to change the selectable check to hide the checkbox if cascade = false and the item type doesn't match the picker type.
The harder solution is to replace the cascade flag on the tree picker by automatically cascading selections until a resource matching the type of the picker is selected - including a check for the initial resource that was checked.
