Description

When viewing a User Profile page, if you refresh, the breadcrumbs reset to "Users > [uuid]" when previously they said either "Users > [full name]" or "Groups > [Group Name] > [full name]". When viewing another user's home project page, if you refresh, it shows the "project not found" screen.

developer-run-tests-services-workbench2: #522

21412-user-profile-bugs @ 9ef83bc1a6a2258258096759d079381a1e1a1c5c

  • ✅ All agreed upon points are implemented / addressed.
    • The root project showing "Project Not Found" bug couldn't be replicated. I'm thinking it probably got fixed in #21386
  • ✅ Anything not implemented (discovered or discussed during work) has a follow-up story.
    • n/a
  • ✅ Code is tested and passing, both automated and manual, what manual testing was done is described
    • Manually replicated the bug and then fixed so it no longer happens
  • ✅ Documentation has been updated.
    • n/a
  • ✅ Behaves appropriately at the intended scale (describe intended scale).
    • intended scale is a single user navigating to one page at a time
  • ✅ Considered backwards and forwards compatibility issues between client and server.
    • no new server-related functionality
  • ✅ Follows our coding standards and GUI style guidelines.
Notes:
  • In my opinion, right-clicking on the userName breadcrumb should have a link to that user's profile page in the that context menu OR clicking on the breadcrumb should navigate to the user's profile page if you are viewing the root project. I didn't make a follow-up ticket because I'm not sure if that's a change we want or what. It's definitely not critical, just something that may be nice to have

Something to think about with the project page and context menu revisions but I agree with not changing it now.

This branch LGTM.
