Regular expression support for filtering file list of collections

Use case:
Power user wanted to check that files in a collection followed a certain filename format, and could use a regular expression to match files that do or do not follow the expected format instead of having to inspect them all by eye. User mention it would also be useful when doing complex merging/splitting of collections.
