It's difficult once a user clicks on a job or pipeline to maneuver back to the list of pipelines

Hi, do you mean hitting the back button or project link (from the job / instance viewing page) takes you to the "Data collections" tab instead of "Jobs and instances" tab?

Partially. If I go to a project, then the jobs and instances tab, then click on a pipeline, then click on a job the pipeline ran, I can't maneuver back to the pipeline without doing the entire process over again
