reviewing ac6798733ce11d6a3410bf1da639cb3e5a84047f

L160 I see that this logic wont be ever excecuted in jenkins, because $WORKSPACE is always a git repository
L169 doing a git checkout master is HARMFUL now that we're doing checkout of specific git hashes.

In my oppinion, This needs to be splitted in the future (upload in a different script / JenkinsJob)
