Description

GNU Guix is a next generation software package manager and works well with Docker. GNU Guix is supporting an increasing number of bioinformatics packages.

It would be great to have guix-daemon running in default Docker images (comes to an extra 100Mb). For my writeup see https://github.com/pjotrp/guix-notes/blob/master/INSTALL.
