Bug #19300

h4. UX problem

The MultiPanelView component suite allows configuring some Some panels with a "maximize" button. This button closes every are maximizable, meaning that all the other open panels get hidden and the maximized panel allowing usually takes the remaining one to take the entire vertical space and avoiding having an outer vertical scrollbar.
 There is space.

An UX improvement would be to provide a usability issue when the user maximizes a panel and wants button to un-maximize it so it can look at another panel. In this case, "un-maximize" the user needs panel, making the entire UI to open go back to the closed state that was before maximizing, so some other panels from the upper button bar. could show again, and some other would stay hidden.

 h4. Proposed solution

Add a 'restore'/'unmaximize' This button that sets could be placed instead of the panel visibility states to whatever it was before the user clicked the maximize button.

 h4. Related problem

Offering a 'close' "close panel" (X) button on maximized panels may button, as I'm not be what we want because there's no sure if it's of any use in to allow a panel-less UI. We might be able user to hide all panels, and we could save screen real estate by not showing replacing it when the panel is maximized and just offering the un-maximize button.
 with a "un-maximize" buton.
