When using LDAP or other username/password based login method, the "Login" button on the Workbench 1 page you get when you are not logged in but try to visit a link (like a collection or workflow) sends you to controller login and the error "interactive login is not available".
This should send you to the workbench 1 login page, ideally with a correct redirect back to the original page after login.
